GMSP is a female-led organisation that was founded by rural women from Sindhulpalchok District in Nepal. The goal of GMSP’s 2016-2017 project is to reduce and minimise the displacement of children from the most vulnerable communities and trafficking of children to sectors prone to commercial sexual exploitation (CSEC).

To achieve this end, GMSP will focus on six main objectives: empowering and strengthening community-based child protection mechanisms; providing educational support; conducting awareness raising activities; orienting child clubs on issues of CSEC; referring, rehabilitating and reintegrating victims of CSEC, and economic empowerment.
