Biruh Addis is a charitable association that was formally registered in 2023. Its objective is to provide important skills to kids and women, combat human trafficking, and encourage safer migration to assure individual, community, and society advantages.
Through its unique goal, vision, and five major objectives, Biruh Addis envisions healthy and flourishing Ethiopian communities free of human trafficking, exploitation, and dangerous migration. The 15 founding members (survivors) dedicated their time and efforts to raising awareness for returnees’ migrant domestic workers, campaigning for policymakers, and enhancing returnees’ and potential migrants’ empowerment.
