Two people have been arrested following reports a man had been kept as a slave in a shed at the bottom of a garden for four years. The man and woman are being held on suspicion of modern slavery offences.

UK imposes landmark labor ban on duo who exploited foreign workers

A British court banned a couple convicted of illegally supplying overseas workers from recruiting any more staff, the first time Britain has used such a sanction as the country cracks down on labour abuses and modern slavery.
