Agar Ethiopia Charitable Society (Agar Ethiopia) is a national non-political, non-profit making and non-governmental organization established in 2005, re-registered in 2009 and 2019 as civil society organization by Agency for Civil Society Organizations.
Agar Ethiopia envisions an empowered, renewed, and rebuilt society of elders, children in need, returnees, mentally affected, internally displaced persons, refugees, survivors of trafficking and violence. Agar Ethiopia inspires and empowers elders, mentally affected people, refugees, returnees, internally displaced persons, victims of trafficking, and survivors of violence to improve their livelihood by themselves. Programs of Agar Ethiopia rest or founded on three pillars represented by “3Rs” (Respond, Renew & Rebuild).
Agar operate all over Ethiopia. However, our programs are being implemented Addis Ababa, Amhara Region/ Bahir Dar City and Oromia Region/ Dukem City
