Oxfam aims to create a coalition of active Thai CSOs to deliver joint advocacy efforts to drive accountability in the seafood sector. Through building a civil society coalition, Oxfam seeks to form a consortium that can use their collective voice to advocate for change with both government and the private sector; build civil society capacity; and improve coordination and collaboration in the field. In doing so, the goal is to create a civil society ‘watchdog’ that can hold the industry and government to account, long after Oxfam’s investments in Thai Seafood have ended.
