Society for Peoples Education and Economic Change (SPEECH)
Founded in 1987, SPEECH primarily aims to strengthen participation at the grassroots level and promote the sustainable development of vulnerable communities in Tamil Nadu. Having previously focused on Virundhnagar district in its work with the Freedom Fund, SPEECH now works in Dindugul district in approximately 30 villages identified as having high levels of adolescent girls going to work in spinning mills in exploitative conditions.
Grant concluded as of 2021.
