The covid-19 pandemic is affecting all of us, but in these times of major upheaval, it’s often children who bear the brunt of the crisis and are disproportionately impacted. The most vulnerable are facing heightened exposure to various forms of exploitation and trafficking as protective structures have become severely disrupted during lockdowns.

As part of our online series exploring vulnerability and covid-19, our third webinar put the spotlight on Brazil, central Nepal and Rajasthan. We examined what the long-term shocks of the pandemic will mean for children in situations of commercial sexual exploitation and child labour, and discussed what needs to be done to minimise the impact.
